Shipping 

 

During working hours (Mon - Fri 08;00 - 17:00), orders are usually processed within 2-3 hours. However, please allow up to 24 hours for your order to be processed.

Busted Security typically ships out orders within one business day after they have been placed (this excludes weekends & public holidays). We try our best to DISPATCH all orders the same day if they are paid for (and the payment has been verified by our Accounts Department) before 12pm (weekdays). 

​

You will receive a shipping confirmation email (with a tracking number) as soon as your order has been processed and shipped.

​

We ship countrywide using a courier service. We do NOT use the post office unless the customer requests this in writing.

​

This is overnight (next BUSINESS day service) to major centers (2-3 days extra to REGIONAL centers), but can take a few days to outlying areas.

​

Please note - large items (over 2kg) might take an extra 1-2 days shipping time.

 

All times stated above exclude weekends & public holidays.

Busted Security charges shipping and handling fees for every shipment, unless a special promotion or contract term provides otherwise; such cost includes the freight charged by the carrier, packaging, and handling.

​

Delivery times are estimates only and we shall not be liable for any delays caused by the courier company or post office.

​

PLEASE NOTE - We can not ship to certain townships, farms, plots or extreme outlying areas.

​

Payment is due before shipment, unless credit terms have been arranged in advance. No item will be shipped out until Proof of Payment has been emailed to payments@bustedsecurity.co.za

We allow a maximum of 4 calendar days to complete order payment. Failure to do so will result in the order being cancelled.

Shipping Costs

Busted Security uses a courier service to ship all orders to our customers.  We do not charge a flat rate and thus work out the shipping costs of each order based on height, width and weight and include the shipping fee on the quotation. Payment of the agreed apon total amount  reflected on the quote will constitute an acceptance of the shipping fee and the order can then be processed and shipped within 24 hours (Weekends and Public Holidays not included)

Return & Exchange Policy

We provide a 7 day money-back satisfaction guarantee on anything you purchase from Busted Security provided that the item is returned in it's original packaging and an inspection confirms that the defective product was defective before purchase occured. You can return purchases for a full refund (excl shipping & handling fee).

All items are covered by a 12 month warranty which will be honoured directly by Busted Security. All products will either be replaced/repaired/refunded depending on stock availability.

Please email us should you need to return an item.

We do not reimburse your fee to ship to us, but we will pay for return shipping if the item is subject to replacement.

​

Refunds are subject to inspection of item(s) and all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee if item is no longer in BRAND NEW condition.

​

Warranty items returned must be accompanied by the original invoice and a detailed fault report at the customer's cost.

​

Please re-package safely and include all original product packaging and original invoice.  

​

Busted Security reserves the right to refuse a refund if the item is damaged from misuse, items are missing, the product was vandalized or if the product is altered in any way. 

​

Busted Security or its affiliates are not responsible for damage or loss of any kind that may occur as a result of using or misusing any product purchased from us. 

​

The warranty will no longer be valid, and Busted Security will not be responsible for damage or injury of any kind resulting from:

  • Electricity fluctuations and surges, lightning strikes, faults in the building wiring, faulty installations, and improper use of controls

  • Failure to use the product in accordance with the operating instructions and or general misuse and or abuse

  • Damage caused by a superior force (vis maior) or if the product has been infested with insects or pests

  • If the product is physically damaged after it left the store

  • If water or liquid caused the damage to the product

  • If the warranty seal is tampered with

  • Any repair or tampering by an unauthorised person or attempt to repair or tamper with the equipment, or use of parts not supplied by authorised agents, or alterations or modification to the equipment

shall render the warranty null and void.
